As Managing Director of Ambassador Industrial, Darryl Hodges spent his formative years learning the rubber business whilst working with the large Australian company - Dunlop Rubber. Ambassador Industrial established their presence in the marketplace as a wholesaler of other manufacturer's products. Product quality became an issue, so Ambassador Industrial embarked on a program of design and manufacturing. The company has been very active in the transport, building/construction, marine and agriculture industry sectors. The client base includes Mercedes Benz, Fujitsu, NEC, International Harvester and Hino Trucks. Ambassador Industrial manufactured rubber cable protectors for NBC Corp. for their Olympics need. Product Overview Ambassador Industrial provides a comprehensive service in rubber extrusions and moulded products. Client companies can provide their own dies or provide Ambassador with drawings from which dies can be made. Ambassador's flexibility enables them to produce short production runs under tight production schedules. Extrusions are produced from modern, current technology machinery that has been purpose built. Current machinery allows extrusions up to 250mm in width. The key to success is through selecting the correct material that will do the job. Ambassador Industrial use a range of polymers including E.P.D.M., S.B.R., N.B.R. (Nitrile) and Neoprene. Standard rubber extrusions include: Sponge - E.P.D.M., Neoprene and Nitrile Solid - E.P.D.M., S.B.R., Neoprene, Nitrile and Silicone Mouldings - Compression and Compression Transfer using all types of rubber.
